“Best New Builder” award at Bespoked 2025 (Dresden)
Bespoked is considered the most important European exhibition dedicated to the world of handcrafted bicycles. Celebrating innovation and craftsmanship in the design and construction of unique bicycles, the event held two editions in 2025, in Manchester (April) and Dresden (October). The German edition showcased approximately 130 independent builders from around the world and awarded prizes in various categories. The winners were selected by a jury of industry experts, including the prestigious American website BikeRumor, which awarded Gregario the award for best new builder.
Some may recall that Gregario was already present at the UK edition in Manchester, but with the VERA AR still in development, some details not fully refined, and a prototype not yet rideable (and therefore not a “real bike”). In the months that followed, we worked tirelessly to refine every detail in preparation for the IBF in Misano (last September) and Bespoked, but above all, to move from prototypes to PRODUCTS with rideable, fully-tested, and ready-to-order bicycles! This explains our inclusion in the “new manufacturers” category, because now we can officially call ourselves that.
Once again, the enthusiastic public response to our creations gave us a boost of positive energy, but a real boost came from the trade press, which understood the scope of our innovation and appreciated the beauty and technical skill of our creations.
