Gregario frames are the result of meticulous engineering design and excellent handcrafted production. Our mission is to ensure every cyclist can count on superior performance and total reliability over time. The terms governing the standard warranty and post-crash support program are set out below.
1. 10-year warranty (frame kit)
Gregario guarantees to the first owner that the frame kit (frame, fork, handlebars) is free from defects due to materials or manufacturing process for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase and for a maximum of 300,000 km of usage.
– Validity: The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners.
– Proof of Purchase: To activate any warranty claim, it is essential to present a valid proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).
2. Coverage and Limitations
If a component is deemed defective by Gregario, the company will repair or replace it with an equivalent model, at its sole discretion.
– Third Party Components: Non-Gregario branded components (groupsets, wheels, saddles, etc.) mounted on the bicycle are covered exclusively by the warranties of their respective manufacturers.
– Maintenance: The warranty is conditional on proper use and regular maintenance according to industry standards.
3. Crash Replacement Program
We understand that accidents happen, unfortunately. Gregario offers a support program to facilitate the restoration of your bike in the event of structural damage not covered by the standard warranty.
3.1 Included Products
The program applies exclusively to Gregario-branded frames, forks, and handlebars.
3.2 Conditions of Applicability
– Covered Damages: Structural damage resulting from accidental impacts or drops during use. Purely cosmetic damage or damage resulting from abuse/negligence is excluded.
– Period: The program can be activated within three (3) years from the original date of purchase.
– Exclusivity: Valid only once for the first owner.
– Technical Replacement: It is not possible to request a change of model or size compared to the original component.
3.3 Financial Concessions
The discount applied on the current List Price (SRP) at the time of reporting depends on the age of the product:
– Within 1 year: 30% discount
– Within 2 years: 20% discount
– Within 3 years: 10% discount
4. General Exclusions
The warranty and Crash Replacement do not cover:
– Normal wear and tear of components subject to wear.
– Damage caused by incorrect assembly or use of incompatible components.
– Modifications, repairs or painting carried out by centers not authorized by Gregario.
– Damage resulting from exposure to aggressive chemicals.
– Effects of exposure to UV rays or saline environment.
– Products with altered or removed serial numbers.
– Insurance claims (Crash Replacement is not available to insurance companies).
5. Procedure and Charges
– Support Channel: All requests must be made through the authorized Gregario dealer where the purchase was made.
– Costs to be paid by the customer: The owner is responsible for the labor costs for disassembly/reassembly and all shipping costs, duties and customs taxes.
– Inspection: Gregario reserves the right to request the return of the damaged component for technical analysis before authorizing the replacement.
Gregario reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without notice.
